So when you say local datastore you mean on the server itself and not a SAN correct?

In case of vSphere NAS should be only NFS, and yes you can connect same NFS to few ESXi hosts - thats the point of shared storage for hypervisors.

Hey, sounds like you have to configure your QNAP to allow multiple iSCSI connections to the same LUN. Might be disabled per default. RegardsTim

Yes this error is very generic ...AS AT10 suggested" do try on different storage" I most of the time deploy it on local datastore with no any issue. Sometimes due to network problem it may happen

Hi Hari, You got both of them right.They are the agents that are installed when a ESXi host is connected to vCenter and when a host is made part of a cluster.
