View ArticleHow to recover a datastore after a disk failure?
I have an Adaptec RAID 71605Q and 8 hdds: 4x 2TB in a raid5 array, and 4x 3TB in a raid10 array. (Two connections on the card, and two of those 4-into-1 cables; one cable per array, if that makes...

Hi everyone, So I recently installed ESXi Hypervisor 6.5 on a Dell EMC Server PowerEdge T440. We then procured an nVidia Quadro P4000. Upon scouring the forums and the internet, I do not see anywhere...

That's a consumer card and therefore not supported so likely 'no'.

I never intentionally added an extent to that datastore. In my raid card bios (before starting esxi), I created two virtual drives (the raid5 drive and the raid10 drive). In esxi, I created two...

If you mean with "spanning" that a VM could allocate ressources from both servers than this is impossible with all 3 products. There is VMware FT which "mirrors" the VM in realtime to the other host,...

ESXi does not support any of the hardware you have, especially the Celeron processor which is likely the direct cause. You need compatible hardware to run ESXi, not consumer hardware.

View ArticleRe: After load image ...black display
I think Celeron CPUs may not support ESXI. ESXI is suitable for professional virtualization. Celeron CPUs should be used for laptops. We recommend Intel Xeon CPUs and Intel S2600CW motherboard.

Not sure if you still can but I have done it in the past using Host profiles.Don't think its possible just using the UI of an individual host but again ive not needed to for ages..!
