Hi, guys, I have tried esxi 6.5a on my HP workstation. The host installation and guest vm works ok, but I can not setup passthrough for the display card. Here is my host configuration:
main board: z77 (with vt-d configured)
CPU: xeon E3-1230
Mem: 8G ddr3
GPU: MSI GTX750-Ti (use dvi)
I switch the GPU (PCI device) to passthrough in the web client, and assigned to a win7-x64 vm guest. The guest have installed the latest nvidia driver, and it show the GPU works fine from the device manager pannel. And when I connect the monitor to the DVI interface, the monitor shows no signal, reboot the host and vm makes no use.
Can somebody tell me how to solve it? Does the GTX gpu can not passthrough?
