Hi all,
I converted via VMWare vCenter Converter a physical Windows Server 2008 server system (it was DELL PE T620) to a VM within ESXi 5.5.0.
I noticed after this virtualisiation process that virtual NIC has been not bound correctly.
The device manager in the virtual system reports under the section Network adapters / Intel PRO/1000 MT Network Connection:
"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)."
The installation of VMWare tools could not resolve this problem. Quite the contary, VMWare tools coused an other issue. The mouse control in the VM has been additionally disabled.
Question:
Do I need special VMWare drivers for virtual NIC / mouse control?
Is it required to change some settings in the configuration of this VM within vSphere Client?
Best Regards
Mariusz
