Wanted to send another update. we have been slowly making changes to our CPU and Memory assignments to try and get most if not all systems below 5 %RDY and so far so good. Dedicated systems are much easier than the linked clones. So far the last two days probably 95% out of 128 systems are consistently running below 5 %RDY. It is a good thing however we are still seeing DRS with several systems in a tallow status, graph below, and users reporting sluggishness and lockups on their desktops. We ran a perstat on our NetApp FAS and sent that in this morning for evaluation. Most of the systems in the cluster are linked clone desktops, followed by dedicated desktops, a last a few servers. All of the desktops are on the NetApp.
As we are pushing through this where should we look next? We are a bit frustrated that an upgrade to View 6 has brought all these issues. It could be that View 5 just hid them better who knows.
TIA,
Jim
