Dear All,
I have the freeware hypervisor, and I installed an xp guest on it with 1 vcpu. The host itself has 12000MHz, and I can see that the guest with normal (1000) share has only max 2500MHz. When I installed the xp os, the perfomance graph shows that the guest cpu sometimes reach the 100% usage. So I would like to give the guest some more MHz. Is it possible to change the max host cpu limit for a guest? How?
If suppose if I change the shares from normal to higher, it won't solve the problem (mainly because I don't have any other guest on this system yet 
)
Or should I assign one more cpu to the guest OS? I tried to avoid this, because a guest with two cpus has to wait for two available cpu on the host.
